The guide is published in English and German, and both versions follow the same research and correction process.
Practical details on this site are cross-checked with official sources. For the marine park, I use the Mu Ko Lanta National Park pages from Thai National Parks. Weather information is checked against the Thai Meteorological Department, and entry and visa rules against the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Access details rely on Krabi International Airport and the ferry operators serving Saladan Pier.
Why this guide exists
Kylian Dev is the pen name of a French web developer working with Laravel and DevOps. I build and run a small network of independent travel guides: Thailand Voyager, Koh-Lanta-Island.com, Samos-Island.com and Railay-Krabi.com. The same person writes, verifies and corrects all of them. I write in English, French and German, so the pages published in these languages come from the same editorial process.
I wanted guides that are clear about where their information comes from. Travel pages often mix facts, opinions and advertising without saying which is which. Here, practical details are checked against official sources, affiliate links are labelled as sponsored, and no place pays to be listed or recommended. The goal is simple: give you information you can verify yourself before you book or travel.
How I work
Every page starts with a research phase, then each practical claim is cross-checked with official sources: authorities, national parks, national weather services, transport operators, and entry and visa rules. Prices, schedules and travel times are given as indications and checked on the date shown on the page. When an official source says something different, the official source wins and the page is corrected.
Live prices and ratings for tours and stays come from booking partners such as GetYourGuide and Trip.com, and they can change until you book. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored, and no recommendation is sold or exchanged. Every page has a button to report outdated information. I read these reports and apply corrections quickly, then update the date shown on the page.
