  • Getting there. Most visitors come by scooter or taxi. Bring cash, as card payment is not guaranteed.
  • Do you need a tour?. Not really. The trails are straightforward. A tour helps mostly with transport.

Koh Lanta Old Town

  • What it is. The historic east-coast village, known for stilt houses over the sea and seafood restaurants.
  • Best time. Daytime for the streets, and later in the day for a seafood meal.
