Krabi International Airport is the closest and the gateway for almost every visitor, with domestic connections from Bangkok and a growing list of international routes. From there, a minivan, taxi or private transfer takes you to the island by road, with the route sometimes including a short car ferry. Budget roughly two to three hours door to door and confirm current routing with your provider.
